Curriculum Developer & Instructor: Raycelle Garcia

An introductory mini-course to Python for beginner-level college students (primarily aimed for students in non-programming majors). The course contained 4 synchronous lessons (each lasting 1.5 hours) with take-home assignments, and concluded with a final project assignment. This course was conducted fully online and run three times over two semesters, reaching over 140 students.

My responsibilities in this project included:

  • Designing and building the entire course content and format, including lesson objectives, assignments and writing the Google Colab Exercise Notebooks
  • Building and managing the online Blackboard course
  • Leading online Zoom lessons and office hours
  • Grading assessments
