Learning Experience Designer: Raycelle Garcia

A series of apps that are designed to promote active learning, as part of the Pedagogic Active Learning Mobile Solutions Project (PALMS) at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

I supported the learning experience design of 4 PALMS apps: YoTeach, Badaboom, Cell Game and an in-house student response system. My responsibilities in these project included:

• Working with a UI designer and developers on the design, implementation and testing of new features on four internally developed educational web applications
• Gathering, responding to and taking action on user feedback
• Preparing instructional and class content materials for teachers and students
• Supporting the implementation, data collection and manuscript write up of testing and pilot sessions
